This training covers the definition of sexual assault, the role of consent, myths vs. facts, and the impact of victim blaming. Participants will also learn about legal rights and available resources. The second portion focuses on trauma-informed communication with survivors. Attendees will practice creating safe spaces, active listening, and avoiding common communication pitfalls. Through scenarios and reflection, participants build skills to support healing, validate experiences, and communicate in ways that center survivor autonomy and emotional safety.
