Rhode Island: One Step Closer to Preventing Domestic Violence

RICADV Offices Closed (Hurricane Sandy): Monday, October 29

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, October 29, 2012
CONTACT: Reza Clifton at RICADV; Phone: (401) 467-9940; Cell: (401) 497-5246

Responding to the State of Emergency issued by Governor Lincoln Chafee, "the offices of Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence will be closed on Monday, October 29, 2012" said RICADV Executive Director, Deborah DeBare. The emergency declaration and subsequent closure by RICADV is linked to the potential problems predicted with the arrival of Hurricane Sandy to the East Coast shoreline.

Those needing help immediately should call 911 for safety/emergencies or 211 for questions about how to prepare or recover from Sandy.
