What is Domestic Violence? How does it affect men and women and children in heterosexual and same sex relationships? How does it impact children who witness domestic violence? Learn about the power and control in relationships, the cycle of violence, barriers to leaving and available community resources. Participants will also have the opportunity to practice responding to victims and de-bunk myths about the causes of domestic violence. This is core foundation training for anyone who will be working directly or indirectly with victims of domestic abuse.
