 KNOW MORE: Multimedia

PSA Premiere: KNOW What to Do - #KNOWwhatloveis

Real students from different schools in Rhode Island helped to create the script for this public service announcement for Teen Dating Violence Awareness & Prevention Month. They are also the actors in the commercial that depicts a very real situation happening in their schools and to their friends. They offer a way anyone can help someone in this situation. Web clips found on www.NOMORERI.org show additional ways to help. KNOW MORE about healthy relationships on this website that includes bystander tools, videos and other resources.

KNOW What to Do: Sharing Concerns & Resources

In this web clip, Sara's friends talk to her about dating violence. Many teens and young adults don't know that they're in an abusive relationship and knowledge is key in preventing abuse. They direct her to NOMORERI.ORG where she can learn more about the warning signs and obtain the Helpline number for future use.

KNOW What to Do: Speaking Up

In this web clip, Sara's boyfriend's friends confront him about his controlling behavior. Speaking up when you see or hear abuse is one way to help someone experiencing dating violence.
