What We Do

The RI Coalition Against Domestic Violence envisions a society where domestic violence is not tolerated because communities are enlightened and responsive to the needs of victims and their children.

In order to realize our vision, the RICADV and its member agencies:

1. Provide direct services for victims and survivors of relationship violence,
2. Advocate for state policy change, including through the work of our task force, SOAR (Sisters Overcoming Abusive Relationships)
3. Develop and implement a Statewide Prevention Plan
4. Use diverse media to address domestic violence
