Description
Presenter: Sandra Shaw, Rhode Island College
This training will cover health issues facing female veterans, including military sexual trauma and how intimate partner violence affects the female veteran. We will discuss resources available through the Veterans Administration for women in military families who are experiencing intimate partner violence, and the challenges associated for advocates in working with this unique population.
