Has the media ever framed your issue badly? Have you ever been misquoted in a news article? This is a training based on the writings of Charlotte Ryan and George Lakoff, applied to a grassroots organizing strategy. You will learn how to take a problem that your organization has identified, frame it with a visionary solution based on shared local values, and get that message out. This training will also offer an introduction to the different tools you can use to deliver your message, from news release to op-ed. Never be misquoted again!
This training will be held at the RICADV Training Room.
