Events Calendar - Archive

Our mission is to support and enhance the work of our member agencies, and to provide leadership on the issue of domestic violence. Our six member agencies are the Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center, the Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County, the Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center, Sojourner House, the Women's Center of Rhode Island, and the Women's Resource Center. Each of our six member agencies host events that offer the public opportunities to get involved in their local domestic violence center.

To register for a training, fill out the form after the course summary. There is no registration fee for staff or volunteers from RICADV’s Member Agencies or SOAR, (Women’s Center of RI, Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center, Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center, Women’s Resource Center, Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County, and Sojourner House). If you are not a staff or volunteer with one of these agencies, the completed form will bring you to a secure, online payment  site. The RICADV and the DELTA State Steering Committee is offering a four-part series of evaluation trainings designed specifically for violence prevention staff.  We are excited to be able to offer this series of trainings at no cost to staff working to prevent violence in Rhode Island.  In order to participate in this series you need to complete an online survey prior to the training and you must pre-register.  For this reason, walk-ins will not be accepted. Please register as soon as possible as space is limited.

We highly recommend that you attend all four trainings; however, it is not required.  If you can only attend a couple of sessions, you can still participate as each training is a separate workshop.
